About Me

Photo Baby

I'm a kid who never thought she'd be married or a mom.
Now I'm both.
And that's just fine with me.

Kitchen Sink

San Diegans? Help the Kids Korps.

August 11th, 2011

Kids Korps USA is taking school supply donations for foster youth and the children of active military, and it’d be real nice if you could help.

Kids Korp, a youth volunteer organization, partnered with Starbucks for its “Fill a Backpack… Feed a Mind” initiative and is asking interested folks to bring any of the below items to participating San Diego Starbucks locations through August 12th.

Items needed are:

Backpacks, bottles of glue, glue sticks, erasers, pencils, pens (blue, red or black), colored pencils, crayons, washable markers, dry erase markers, highlighters, pocket folders with brads, plastic rulers, scissors, spiral notebooks, three-ring binders, and boxes of tissue.

Check out the Kids Corp website here. You can also bring items to its office at:

2210 Encinitas Blvd. Ste. N

Encinitas, CA 92024.

Let’s go forth and do good.
