Despite the above, I don’t think you should vote for me.
Vote for the haikus you like best.
Because I’m OK with not being the best.
Although it’s a lot of fun when I am.
You know, I had a rough childhood. Always feeling like second best. Never really being accepted for me.
What? Yeah, it hurt. But, I’m working on it. I’m really OK now with not having to feel like I’m good at anything. Maybe I’ll write a haiku about that. Maybe that haiku will be better than the ones I submitted to the My Mommy’s Place contest last week. The ones you aren’t going to vote for.
No, come on. Really. I’ll be OK.
