Sunlight makes it through the thickest of branches.
Thursday didn’t come easy. Alexa’s down with a sinus infection and the rest of us are battling runny noses and general crankiness.
And here I am: squirreled away in a dark corner of the kitchen to write a few lines.
I started a poem, but thought: I need to empty my mind tonight and not fill it up.
The day’s skittered by uneasily and I want to rest, just rest.
