PROMPTUESDAY #74: A Day in The Life

Etcetera, PROMPTuesdays

I’m itching for a good old fashioned style prompt and so I’m going to indulge myself today.

In 200 words or less, describe a day in the life of an obsessive twitterer.

I know it’s been done, but the Twits in Twitterland are so asking for it.

Please post your submission in the comments OR post in your blog and leave a link to your blog in the comments.

First time to PROMPTuesday? Read a bit about it here.

    I can’t do it. I still don’t understand twitter.

And I’m not clever enough for the silliloquy one – even though I’ve still got it in the back of my mind. See that? All these days and I’ve not thought of a one.

Traffic is awful. I wonder what @johncmayer is up to? Ha ha. That guy. Uh oh, green light.
What? Who is trying to make a left turn between 7am and 9am? I’m tweeting this.
Ha ha. That guy is totes getting a ticket. Twitpic!

Crap! I have that budget meeting at 10:00. Better bring my Blackberry. ThatKevinSmith is tapping his wife again. Dirty Jersey boy.

    10:30am
“Uh, no sir. @bob has…Um, I mean, uh, Bob has those figures.” Yikes! That was close. I have to tweet that.

    4:50pm
Wtf? The boss wants this done before I leave? Why does he always drop this on my desk right at quitting time? I am totally tweeting this.

    6:30pm
Stupid neighbors’ dog pooped on my porch again. This deserves a tweet.
    And a twitpic.

I tried to write something about Twitter, but it came out as the anti-Twitter and a life lived mostly before computers. Is that bad?
