PROMPTuesday #136: Done

Etcetera, PROMPTuesdays

For today, something simple. Maybe. Probably not.

Either way, please consider the prompt:

What have you always wanted to do, but haven’t done yet?

Please post your submission in the comments OR post in your blog and leave a link to your blog in the comments.

First time to PROMPTuesday? Read a bit about it here. Want to see what’s been written in the past? Catch up on the PROMPTuesdays archive here.

This is a great exercise. As I sit hear trying to come up with an answer I am realizing just how fortunate I am. How much I have been able to do thus far in life. Okay, here goes: I’d like to be able to play the xylophone solo in the Violent Femmes’ song “Gone Daddy Gone.” And while I am at it, might as well admit that I’d like to do it on stage with the Violent Femmes.

I’ve always wanted to be proud of who I am. And finally, I think I am.

I’m livin’ the dream! (Part one of it, anyway…the fame and fortune is yet to come)

In a way, it’s simple. I would like to figure out a way for everyone everywhere to get along.

I love what I do, and it takes a lot of my time and energy, so maybe that’s why I don’t spend more time trying other things.

I’d like to write a song that becomes a hit by a major star.

I’d like to create a website/service that makes some serious money, and then be bought out by a bigger fish.
