I’m So Metaphorically Cheap

Kitchen Sink

Hey! Check out the cheap, used clothes I bought at the Goodwill! My friend San Diego Bargain Mama put me up on her site, even though I’m a thrift hussy. Isn’t that great? I also think she Photoshopped me to make me look thinner, which is super fantastic and in all ways appreciated.

Okay, let me just tell you… I love Goodwill! You have to dig a little, of course, but sometimes, when you’re in really cool neighborhoods, like Haight/Ashbury, the Goodwill is more like a boutique. I found the CUTEST red shoes there when I was helping my daughter move.

As always, YOU just rock whatever you’re wearing.

OK- so I love Goodwill too!

    But wait for it…(drumroll, please…)

I have discovered the JAPANESE VERSION OF GOODWILL!!!

Hilarious- women around the world adore the gently used bargains and the warm-fuzzies you get from recycling other people’s #$#% instead of purchasing new #$#%.

Way cute!! I got a really nice suit, jacket and pants fully lined for 8 bucks at the GW. I have also found a place I like somewhat better than GW, it’s called Savers…not sure if they have that chain in your neck of the woods…but it’s awesome.

Visited Del Mar’s shops, businesses, restaurants and bars for the Village’s annual Taste and Sip with closest pals. Highlights: learning about Mezcal at @enfuegocantina, sampling new @lalospirits tequila, catching the sunset at @monarchdelmar, amazing ceviche at @coya_peruvian_secret, and the most delicious gluten-free birthday cake from @shanjo!
