Sharing some humor, a bit of writing and way too much information

From the Diary of a Reluctant Housewife

Etcetera

I’m not going to cease to exist if I don’t update my blog every day, right? I mean, I CAN disconnect from Twitter, Facebook, WordPress and e-mail for a day or two while I capture the holiday spirit, finish some work, and domesticate myself.

It IS possible. What’s important is my family.

So why do I need you all so much?

You will not spontaneously combust, implode, explode, self-destruct, disassemble, crumble, wrinkle, tear, or become persona non grata if you take time off from the blog. I am living proof. I was gone three weeks and I survived. Barely, but still…

As for why you need us: we’re fabulous!

Oh no, you WILL cease if you don’t post every day. You will. You’ll just go ‘poof’ and be gone. I’ve seen it happen. It’s not pretty. So post. Post, damn it, and LIVE… LIVE to… ummm… post another day? Yeah, I’m all about the drama today. Didn’t mean it. None of it.

But I will call you a slacker.

Coming back from a week off, I say you’ll be just fine. Really. We’ll miss you, and you’ll miss us, but you’ll live. ;)

Because we need you too. I mean, we’ll all survive but we’ll miss each other. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, though, right?

You won’t cease to exist. We’ll just miss ya! I’m doing this new thing where I get off the computer and go to bed before 11 p.m., and read these things they call books, which, wow! I really like them! I need to keep that practice up.

You WON’T cease to exist if you don’t update your blog every day. I think you should cut yourself some slack. We’re NOT going anywhere! (I know how you feel, only my “panic” hits me every 2nd or 3rd day – I can’t blog everyday for some reason… OH, the family thing.)

It’s gonna be tough but you’ll make it. I am not even trying – I am hooked and addicted to it.

    Blogging is psychological.
We all blog because we are working something out.
We all appreciate each other because we help each other.

The great existential question is not whether you will cease to exist while you’re away, but whether we will cease to exist without you. Hmmmn… :)
