Sharing some humor, a bit of writing and way too much information

In Which I Could Use a Good Acupuncturist

Etcetera

Today turned out to be one of those days. Running from thing to thing, speed dialing my pretend maid, wondering if wine could be considered a Jamba Juice boost.

THEN! Frustrating delays, mental breakdowns, rapid breathing.

So, let’s talk about more halcyon days. Winners! We have winners!

For the customized kid’s art book, Michelle (commenter #1) takes the prize. Michelle heads a mom’s group here in town and is always patient when I, her chicken-headed mom’s night out coordinator, tell her that I’ll “do it tomorrow.” And then tomorrow is July and we’re exchanging Christmas cookies.

Next! The other giveaway winner is The Girl Next Door! Have you met her yet? Holy shit, you guys. She lives next door to her EX. Can you just imagine? Get the scoop over at her place.

And meanwhile, if you didn’t win, but still want to check out The Picasso Kid art books, Paula over there is giving 10% off purchases. Go ahead and leave me a comment if you’re interested and I’ll pass on her e-mail address.

Also, Myra at Moon and Back is offering 10% off a $35 purchase from her site with code: weloveSDM. (It’s good until 1/1/09.)

Finally, stay tuned for PROMPTuesday. I may have The Rock post one for me, as I’ll be knee deep in my Chardonnay Xanax smoothie with free Tylenol PM boost.
