We’re lucky enough to live about a mile from here.

I’m in the process of picking I’ve picked a song for each picture, which will be is my weekly “Sunday’s Playlist.” I’ll have this up tonight. Enjoy.

Right now, I’m tired and smell like sea anemone.

Also, my camera died right when a baby seal bellied up to a rock on the shore. A baby seal! And my camera died! My life is so very hard.

I haven’t been down there in over 5 years though.

You need to add “Beyond the Sea” by Bobby Darin to your playlist. The golden sands fit in perfectly with your flaxen haired babies.

Since you mentioned smelling like sea anemone, did I ever tell you about the time Little Dude gave me a Mother’s Day card that said I smelled like a million sea creatures? Thankfully, he meant it in a good way.

Momma Mary: Central CA is beautiful in its own right!

Crucnhy: But you’ll be at Disneyland soon…next best thing!

    Cheri: Yes.

MatterOFM: Didn’t know you lived in SD when you were a kid?

Da Goddess: Beyond the Sea — good one.
Funny card! Was it a Summer’s Eve ad that Little Dude innocently made into a card? :)

You have no idea what I would give to be walking on that beach right now. You are a lucky lady. Yes you are.

We live close to the beach, too – isn’t it the best place for kids? The salty fresh air and giant sand box make for worn out kids who need long naps – ha!
